This is an in depth look at Field Marshal Dedan Kimathi. Kimathi was the top military leader of the The Kenya Land and Freedom Army in the 1950’s. he fought against British colonialism in Kenya in what is generally referred to as the Mau Mau war for independence. Kimathi was savagery murdered in 1957 by the British, today, Kimathi is celebrated as an African hero without peer.
