Clouds drift the whole day
Birds twitter without end
In the eastern ridges the sun is in full display
You go outdoor as if private grief weighs your mind
Waves on waves of corn and millet all around
But your heart is still steeped in sorrow
As your friend, I know your mind.
And what is this care I see in your dim brow
Say nothing! Someone else may be hiding and listening
The Gurgling River startle my heart in fear of our parting.
