FULL OF REGRETS

We seldom texts exchange
Fewer calls still do we make
The first flowers of the season are now advanced with age
Yet from our steep, steep sorrow I do not awake
My temple is wrinkled, my hair thin from pressing cares
Thoughts of you mostly veils me with despair
When I’d thought together we’d always get
Who’d have guessed a life time full of regrets?
