FACES WAX AND WANE

Faces wax and wane in mind’s eye
Of the two I’d be torn any to lose.
Vast moss- carpeted gorges complement the vast sky
In dilemma, the day draw to a close.
Grass and weeds for dusk rain vie
My heart would break at the sight of homing geese.
The one from the lake is unequaled in charm
In years passed, by the one from the mountainous land my heart was overcome.
The wind turn against the sun
Consumed for they, anxiety persist to burn.
